Leave M6 motorway at J.36 and follow the signs on the A590 heading towards Grange, Newby Bridge and Cartmel. The village is signed with brown tourist signs.

Take the train to Oxenholme, the Lake District, or board the train at Lancaster that takes you to the station in the Edwardian town of Grange - Over - Sands. Taxis are available at the station to take you on the three mile journey into picturesque Cartmel village.
